Manor House
This house is a new build on the site of a former barn and other outbuildings. The original proposal was to convert these into a single large house, but their poor structural condition meant that a sympathetic replacement was the more viable option.
The house is very traditional in its design and use of materials as it is set on the edge of a quaint old North Yorkshire village. It has an inner courtyard or 'bailey' with a very large weeping willow in the centre. A new access leads to a sweeping drive at the front.
